The 67's were nice looking trucks. When I was a teenager, one of our neighbors had one that I got to drive some. It was the "standard" cab, 352 V-8 with "3 on the tree" beige (I think Pebble Beige) with white top. It was a SWB Styleside with the huge "West Coast" mirrors. A few years later, my dad bought a '70 F100, 240 I-6, 3 spd. That was a good truck too - Candyapple Red with White Top. I got it in '78 and sold it in '81. Wish I still had it.

That was the same lay out on this truck minus the huge mirrors. I have planned on sticking with a 390FE block but not sure of the color yet.

Does your have the "standard" cab with the white painted grille/bumper, or the "custom" cab with the chrome grille/bumper? If you don't mind my two cents' worth, it would be pretty with the Ford Candyapple Red body and Wimbledon White top. Solid black with some chrome would look good too.

My first truck was a 1968 Datsun and as strange as it may sound I would actually like to have it back but I know it has to be crushed by now. Funny how a old piece of junk can bring back so many memories. That little truck taught me how to work on automobiles by breaking down everyday. Good luck on your build:sweet

Mine looked like this but in bright red.
