My trucks have on 2 diff. occasions gotten overweight tickets in AZ. Both trucks were over by 2,000 lbs. or more.

In AZ, you have to get legal and then they still slap you with an overweight ticket to the tune of 1.00 per lb. over.

And that is 1.00 per lb. if you are over on the drive, on the trailer, and total gross weight.

So if you are over on all 3, you get ticketed 1.00 per lb. on all 3 accounts.

They were nice enough to let me pay them off 100.00 per month.


It took me almost 3 years to pay them off at that rate.

Needless to say, we don't go to the left coast anymore.
