Bama....i think Mark Martin represense this sport very well. i was not trying to put him down(i was actually cheering for him to win Daytona)....maybe a change was needed for him, to fianally get a championship. it is too bad he is only running a partial schedule....but i will always cheer for a FORD driver first...even when Kurt Bush was driving for Roush....now the Bush brothers, aren`t they a gem.... ....everybody does have their own opinion...if everybody had the same opinion, the world would be kinda boring....it makes for good conversations....

i know alot of people are "brand" loyal. i am a ford truck owner, but that dont mean i buy only fords.

when it comes to racing, the cars dont look anything like a ford, chevy, dodge, or toyota. as far as i know, the engines are not manufactured by any of the auto makers, nor the chassis', the sheet metal only looks like the actual cars alittle bit.

so i am not a brand loyal nascar fan. doesnt make any diff. to me what kinda of "car" they drive. as long as the driver doesnt act like a jerk, thinks he is God's gift to the racing world, and show some respect to others.

a driver that is humble, meek, and gives thanks to those who helped him get where he is today.

i am more driver loyal than anything. the fact that mark martin no longer drives a ford, has not changed him in one bit, so why not continue to like him?

his former boss evidently didnt want him around anymore, so mark went elsewhere.

I own Fords, and Nissan Z cars. No chevys. Wait until you see the car of tomorrow... It does not look like any stock car that I have ever seen. The engines of the nascar cars are blocks made by the manufacturers. Also the heads have to be made by the manufacturers. Other components are aftermarket. There are many drivers that I like, but do not pull for because of what type car they drive. Yes, it would not be any fun, joking with our friends if all people liked the same thing all the time. Nascar is taking the emotion out of the drivers with heavy fines, which I think is a bad thing. I like Stewart, and Junior, but I hope they loose every time. Yes, Martin is a class act, and if a chevy has to win, I would hope that it would be him.
The story I got was that Martin could not get a deal from Roush to run a partial schedule. He and Jack Roush are still very good friends.

Oh no you brought gordon into this. I really cheer for Roush, I have a lot of respect for him, since he is one of my customers. Kenseth is my number one driver. I really hate both bush brothers and gordon and jr and waltrip.
Like said before, Nascar is a sport of controversy.
