08 diff cover?

Same here for our Diff covers is RTV,the gaskets get hung on the wall.

you dont need a STINKIN GASKET...the fin'd 08 cover has a groove
cut in it...run a nice bead of RTV form a gasket in the bead grove
and slap the cover up on.

hell the factory didnt use anything more than RTV on the stock
cover and it doesnt even have a GROOVE in it...

i understood that...but i think its also important to let
folks know the gasket isnt necessary...and its not used
by the factory EITHER.

well i just put on my cover. got some new bolts and used black RTV. Looks a lot better than the old rusty cover. It only took 3 quarts. So i have an 18 dollar quart of 75/140 synthetic left over.

Pure Diesel Power unit says for single rear wheel only. Where might one find a similar product for the dually?

The one for the duallys dana 80 is 6c3z-4033-a the stealer sells it for about 175.00. Im going to order mine from directfordparts.com. They have it for 122.00 plus shipping. Im not sure if you might need a new set of bolts,i know the one for the srw the cover is a little thicker and you need some longer bolts.
