Question 08, 6.4 does not heat up at idle

Ford does have an option I believe for a fast idle on these trucks. Raises idle for elec power or PTO. Would work for keeping temp up also.

But the particulate filter will still plug up even at hight idle.

STC has the cure for the DPF and regeneration problems. Not that I've been looking or nothin'...

thats it once my warrantys up at 36k im saying see yea to that dpf , im always at idle when i pick up deliver cold roll steel for work **** my filter goes into regen twice a week for 10 mins at time i wonder how long its gonna last especially with a programmer

HI johnkid, Yes the bumper to bumper is 3/ 36,000 miles, But now you will have 5/ 60,000 miles, and from what I hear these radiators are crap, It's not if it's going to break, but WHEN IT'S GOING TO BREAK !!!

hey powerstroke guy ! so i went in yesterday to find out the $980 i payed his for 2 years 31,000 mile bumper to bumper service brake,oil etc. 36,000 or 2 yrs electrical , and its 5 year or 100,000 they offer an extended 200,000 , while finding this out i was told there was a recall on my vechicle reguarding 6.4 psd it was *cooling system venturicle vee installation* dropped it off right away was told wouldnt get it back cuz i dropped it off at 4pm and got a call back an hour and half later saying it was done and in the wash rack come on down and get it
