Finally bought the new diesel. So far so good.

First mod today going in today is the AEM brute force intake.

AS far as water in fuel what are you guys using for the water bowl on the bottom of the truck. Is there some sort of quick release aftermarket piece and what fuel filters are you running?

Also is there a special tool to remove the filters? 17 mm hex I think?

Welcome fly boy. The water seperator is located on the frame under the driver's seat. It is called a HFCM for Horizontal Fuel Conditioning Module and it does have a drain plug. It is a screw on plug and there is no Quick drain plug known to man or beast. The filters take a 36 mm socket that you can find at Ochard Supply or Sears.

those things are all over the place...cheaper too...ive seen 'em for
11 or 13 bucks...ive got one...and honestly i dont find its any
better then the stock plug (but then i never got a bath when i drained
it using the stock plug either).
