Hello gents, I've been reading an learning from alot of you guys for the last few months, But I do have a couple questions (1) can I remove the catalic? convertor from my 06 F-350 6.0 DRW (2) I get 13mph with this truck is that about right?stock everything no mods with new filters. This truck is my 4th diesel but my 1st powerstoke. An I love this site I have learned alot about my truck from the people on here an I'm very greatful Thank ya'll.

First question you already found an answer for. Second question.... 13 highway/city combined is about right but with a few modifications you can probably improve on that.

I'm in the process of getting more air to the filter (zoodad mod) and planning to remove my cat. The guys at work that have 6.0"s are telling me to put a programmer in it and I will get better MPG.I have thought doing a progammer just scared of blowing headgaskets.

Hello Elwipfo, glad to see another Razorback on here and I will be camping just up the road from where you live next weekend, Fort Smith State Park, AR.
I put a 4 in ex on my truck when it was only 6 mo old and sent the kitty packing. I get 12 to 13.5 driving around in town, on the road I may get 15 MPG if I can keep it up around 75 MPH, Running 62 to 65 and it will get 13 on the road. NO BULL.

Thanks for the info WD, I work in FT.Smith, Guys from work have been catching a mess of fish every weekend not to far from the park ur going to be staying at.
