Had the same problem with my 03 Excursion. Oil never ended up in the oil but was disappearing. Turned out that one of the heads was cracked and coolant was leaking into the cyclinder. Expensive fix.

Best of luck

Just an update for you guys. I put the truck in the shop Tuesday and found out that I had two coolant lines that needed replacing. They tell me that will take care of my coolant leak, which is covered under warranty. I also had a small oil leak coming from the oil pressure pump or something, anyway that is getting fixed under warranty as well. Though I did end up having to pay for a new a/c control head, which went out on my way to take the truck in. They told me that it was a $381 fix.
