I went into town and went to different places this afternoon and everything was fine. Finally got home and the wife wanted to go to the store. She got in the truck, and nothing. So, I have have been trying to figure out what is going on. It cranks fine and everything just does not start.

I am curious if you guys have any ideas?

Number one question is "How are the batteries"? It is about time for new ones if you still have the factory batteries. It may crank, but not fast enough (500 rpm+). You can have them LOAD TESTED to see if they still are good.

I guess I should have thought of this yesterday. I was just to angry with the situation and all but pretty much this is all that happens since I got back from town yesterday and everything was fine before this.

Hi San-Man
I just had the same issue on my 05. Look four links down in the same section at my thread "Help Needed Crank but no start Code P2291". There is some great info in there. If you have access to a scanner it will help also. You might also want to call the stealership and see if you still have any warranty left cause mine did. 5yrs, 100K, $100 deductable. Hope this Helps.

Changed the batteries (warranty on the batteries was still good) and still the same problem.

I do have access to a scanner but the truck is not throwing any codes (which is weird). I should still be good with the warranty (05 w/90000).

Call the dealer with your vin#. I think it goes off build date but not sure. When cranking what does the high pressure oil pump get to? Mine was building only to 350 to 400PSI and the couputer wont fire till it hits 500.
