Morning all.. Bit the dust,& just bought a 2003 F250 Powerstroke 7.3, SWR, Short bed, Lariat 4x4.. Man I love it..

My current use is for daily Driving to/ from work, & ocassionally Rv in the weekends towing a 6000 trailer. It has 60400miles when I got it last week..
What are the mods & add on that are recommended within me not "robbing a bank".. Mods will be primarily for MPG & increased load pulling. I will surely appreciate all information, I an in the carrollton Dallas area
Thank You

Hey there everyone.. I'm another new 03 F250 7.3LPSDer, although mine comes in an XLT package and is silver..

My wife is driving it as a DD since her 3 days a week, 18 mile trip to school (nursing) is less than my 5 day a week 46 mile trip to work. I do drive it once a week and *all* weekend of course.

Anyway, I plan on pulling my Jeeps (three, not at the same time), hauling around dirt (garden) and gravel (driveway) wood (basement, deck) for now. I've had it a week and love it.. just replaced the power mirror switch, but I've learned that is not uncommon.

I'm planning a trip this summer most likely to the Grand Canyon. I want to get a DVD system and was wondering if anyone had any opinions. I'm thinking the system that goes over the headrest is best since I may want to put it my other 4-door commuter car for the kids.. I've seen various ones at Walmart and have looked a bit online so far but am waiting a month or so before pulling the trigger on that.

I sure hope you didn't scare him away with that list, I have about 1/4 of that stuff and that list was frightening to me. I am somewhat finished for a while the cheif finincial officer has confiscated my card, check book and threatened to chage the locks on the house.

Welcome guys. We can help you along with any needs you have. Just remember to ask the question so we can answer it. The only stupid question is the one you didn't ask.
