01 front drive shaft

broke front driveshaft tonight. NOT AT YOKE. small part is still in pumpkin. have no idea what to do. had to strap it up to get her home. need HELP ASAP! I was pullin 2 6.0 chevy trucks and let off. they yakined me after i let ot and tried to pull me around a corner and my truck fell off the road into a ditch and bottomed out and snapped the driveshaft. only my front left wheel was left on the road. PLEASE HELP. Where should I look for one in ST. Louis and how much can I expect to pay?

Either at a truck/auto wreckers or get one made from an drive shaft shop. The wreckers is probably going to be the cheaper route.

what small part is still in the pumpkin? if the yoke is not on there then the pinion shaft has snaped!

I live 20 min. from st. louis, and anytime i have problems with anything 4x4 I talk to GDS in Maryville, IL. They have a website to contact them Welcome To GDS 4X4 - 24 Schiber Ct - Maryville, Il. - 618-288-7470 I will say that they are not always the cheapest to buy from but they always know exactly what I need and tell me how to install it myself. Very friendly people.

thanks for the info guys. it was worse than i thought. i destroyed everything in the front end. so i had to get all new parts up front. it set me back 1500 bucks roughly.
