01 7.3 no start

ok replaced cps 3 weeks ago and it fired right up.well it died again same symptoms.replaced cps today and still no start.has HPOP pressuire,fuel pressure,no codes,no blown fuses.WTS light works.

any ideas??

IDM ?

UVC connections ?

Batt terminal connections ?

Batts state of charge/condition (Independantly)



I've seen CPS's go T U, outa the box.... or shortly there after ?

ICP sensor, or maybe the injection pressure regulator? Any smoke when you crank it? Seen them go out and it acted like a CPS. IP regulator is expensive though.

welcome to my nightmare...

well, first things first, you're gonna need a wiring diagram and a good DVOM.

ohm both sides of the injectors and make sure you don't have a bunk one..

then pull the fender liner and drop the connector from the IDM and ohm the injector wires..

drop the IDM out of the fender and check it for any signs of moisture...
