I took my 2018 F250 6.7 diesel truck to dealer today for two recalls and for oil and filter change at 21 K. They called and said I was due for 15K mile “injector flush” for $249.99!

I called three Ford Dealers and all told me they don’t do a maintenance flush and there is no recommendation to do so. I think the dealer is scamming folks. Anyone heard of this ?

carbonation, How do you think Alliant compares to Stanadyne ?
Just curious, I haven't used either one yet.

Both are good, but Alliant edges out Stanadyne IMO when you look at the list of ingredients.
Stanadyne is from an injector manufacturer, and I've run gallons of the stuff. If you can get it, use it.
Alliant just takes the mix a step further.

The important thing is keeping that fuel pump happy, and injectors clean. A percentage of bio based fuel helps, but that bring other problems: moisture attraction, and the capability to grow slime. Buy diesel from a busy place, and dose with either product and motor on.
