STALLING WHEN COLD!VERY HARD TO RESTART!
Check your oil level. Mine did the same thing. My oil filter became loose & blew oil. It was dangerously low.- dieselnewbie

It's plugged in, I'll let you know tomorrow. It starts fine, idle's fine- it just won't accept throttle under a load until it's good & warm. Thanks again.- dieselnewbie

Thanks, I'll do some digging. As far as the heater, I only plug it in when temp gets below 20 degrees or so. I can say for sure if that makes a difference.- dieselnewbie

I'll try not to take offense....Still trying... Anyway, yes it has proper fuel, proper level & has been treated w/ additive for water. I get no trouble lights that would indicate a retrievable code. When it warms to full operating temp, it runs fine. When it has been run & sits for a couple...- dieselnewbie

gelling I changed the fuel filter & put a fuel additive in the next tank with negative results. Today it did it & it was 40+ degrees outside.- dieselnewbie

I have a 99 superduty w/ 54,000 miles, all stock except for a transmission cooler upgrade.
