Wheel bearings are turning all the time, usually you will hear it when normal driving also, a whine, growl, or any other weird noise coming from the front end. Definitely something to rule out though.- rwlundberg

backing plate is the light gauge piece of metal behind the brakes. It supposed to protect the disc from any damage, could be bent and rubbing when turning.- rwlundberg

I was just wanting people to give me their advise on what I could change. I have a 2002 Superduty x-cab Powerstroke 7.3L 4x4 on 35" tires. 3.73 gears, Auto.
