That is correct. Check the wires at that square harness on the drivers side valve cover closely, u can miss it easily if its chamfered or rubbed- eshe98

Have you checked the bulk connecter on the drivers side harness for chaffed wires? That is a big culprit on the 200 to 2003 models I have worked on due to the connecter being large enough that the wires rub ob the valve cover, after a while they rub through the insulation and touch the valve...- eshe98

I unplugged everything from the idm to the injector and ohmed each harness individually. I f they are 0 then they are good if they are open or infinity then they need repaired or replaced. I went from the idm to the injector with a dvom, could not find an open in the system anywhere. Just had...- eshe98

My 99 superduty has encountered a po266 code and misses. Which is cyl #2 high to low out of spec. I have traced the wiring to the injector and found nothing wrong whic tells me the injector is probably bad. The question I have is....
