    I might try the 170 stat as well , with the big injectors we are seeing a lot higher temps all the time with the temps peaking at about 260 degrees. Who carries the 170 stat ?? GENE

    The PMR's have not been a problem yet , not sure how much more they will take but we will push it harder. The headbolts are not that big of deal in our motor as we have not had any problems with them yet. We do puke coolant from time to time but that is from coolant overheating as the temps...

    Truck bed removal instructions

    Just disconnect the filler tubes ,unplug the wires at the back left hand corner of the bed , and remove the six bolts with a T55 bit that hold the bed down. It only takes 7 minutes to do it , we have done it alot. GENE

    Stroked Lightning gets 18 mpg with those big injectors on the freeway. It is a little less in town don't know why :roflmao The Big White truck gets 16 mpg on the freeway. Mileage don't exsist in town , it smokes too much :dunno GENE

    The Red Racer gets a new fuel system Well I got it all finished and NO leaks. This was a real pain to do. Spent 17 hours putting in the entire fuel system. !6 gal. fuel cell with a AN8 outlet and AN6 return 1/2" fuel line from tank to filter and pump 2-3/8" lines from pump to heads...
