    EBV closing under part throttle

It was 36* F. When I left for work. 17 miles later it was still coming on at a steady speed of 40 mph I like the braking effect, but not while I'm tring to go.

    EBV closing under part throttle

First cold morning today and my EBV is closing at light pedal application but opens when more pedal is applied. Didn't seam to close at idle but it is possible that I didn't wait long enough for it to close. I don't really want to disconnect it because I plan to take over manual control of it in...

    Where's the factory radio amplifier

Found out that my 93 has a different wiring harness under the dash, than the 97. So I had to order a new harness to adapt my Kenwood to the factory harness. SO the advice I got was correct. A standard radio should plug into the factory harness before the amp. The plugs from the amp to the radio...

    Where's the factory radio amplifier

Thanks guys. There are two different harness available. One to keep the factory amp and one to bypass the amp. Sounds like Patrick's way is the easiest because I already have the "standard" connection harness on my aftermarket radio. Thanks again

    Where's the factory radio amplifier

My 97 has the "premium" factory CD player. It is supposed to have a factory amp. Anyone know where the amp is located? I want to install an aftermarket radio and It calls for a different harness than my 93 had. Thanks

Being that it is the start of home heating season here in the NE. I don't expect to see fuel price drop much. $2.75 now, down about $.12 from two weeks ago.

    Joke of the day

A male patient is lying in bed in the hospital, wearing an oxygen mask over his mouth and nose. A young, student nurse appears to give him a partial sponge bath. Nurse," he mumbles from behind the mask, "are my testicles black?" Embarrassed, the young nurse replies, "I don't know sir, I'm...

    Crew Cab rear seat lift

I took my rear seat out the other day. Not sure how to go about raising it. The front mounts are at an angle and the rear mounts use the studs in the floor. Some custom brackets would have to me made. Not too hard to do but it would be a custom job.

    1997 Power

Sounds like your's is running like mine. I'm guessing 3.55 rear gear? Between turbo lag and the short gear, It won't be a rocket ship out of the hole. You may look into power adders, but make sure the mechanical stuff is in top shape, before asking the PCM to pour more fuel in.

    Bullydog disappointment

I like my MBRP. I hear some guys do have down pipe clearance issues with the manuals, but mine fits good with the auto. Had to make one cut with the saws all to get the intermediate pipe the right length but it says that in the instructions.

    Update/Questions on the Boat Situation

Slowly dieing, sounds like a fuel issue to me, not elec. Elec. stuff is normally on or off. I would install a fuel pressure gauge on the fuel line before adding a rubber hose to it. Find the problem first then start patching. Is the engine getting hot? Maybe a bad water pump in th elower unit...
