    Are you really sure you want to buy a first generation 6.4? I hate to say history repeats itself, but um... I'm not willing to pay $50k to find out, oops... the piezo injectors are crap, or the emissions system is a pile of doo doo... whatever. I'd give it at least a year personally.

    funny you should mention that about the cruise control... mine's drunk most of the time. if i'm rolling along constant speed, then I hit the set accel, and take my foot off the pedal, I'll loose about 5-7 mph, then it comes back and overshoots by like 10 mph, then kinda settles out about 2 mph...

    Does anybody know what the thread is in the HFCM? I've only had my plug out once, never had any water. I was looking at making a different setup with some pipe. I just don't know if it's 3/8-16 or 1/4 NPT or what ever. It's a bit of a pain to just drop the plug and measure it, ya know? Any ideas?

    I think the 03's had a few less blades on the driven element, and were much louder. My 06' with no cat on it isn't anywhere near as loud. something about a 13 blade in the earlier units to a 15 or 16 blade in the current ones? Truth be told, I'd rather have the whine....
