    Ham exam....I passed!

Be REAL nice to the little lady :thumbs Look at the Yaesu FT7800 for a mobile rig. It's a 2/440 and works well with some neat features. I need to look and see if there is a MAC software package for programming the 7800. Also if you get the chance to play with the MAC echolink please post...

    Last Diesel Bath.......

Oh I never get more than 8-10 ounces out, the problem is where is it going to go, usually I get lucky enough to hold the plug almost in and let it run into a mason jar, but every now and again the plug slips and that 8-10 ounces spews forth with just enough velocity to hit the front drive shaft...

No problem Derrick. Well if that doesn't bite a biggie.

    Last Diesel Bath.......

Derrick I see that you have an early '99 which would have the 7.3 liter engine. Only thing you need to do is drain the fuel canister on top of the motor via the drain lever on the bottom of the canister.

    Bumpy F350 Crewcab-long bed

I put a Honda in the bed of mine to help add a little weight and smooth out the ride. :roflmao My '06 is a little rough but only on I-285 at 75mph. At first I thought I had a problem but then realized it was just the crappy paving job.

Let's see started off cleaning some carpet, then changing the oil and installing the new drain plug in the F-350, took a shower, now I'm going over some plans for a fire alarm system for a friend so he can tell the fire marshal that the architect is a idiot for spec'ing equipment that hasn't...

    RACES/ARES Radio Go Box

Mark Hang in there you'll get it, or you may get lucky and the FCC will do away with the code requirement and grandfather you into some HF privs.

    Advice on an F250 w/6.0

rhack...Welcome to SDD. As far as the reliability of the 6.0 goes it is just like any other vehicle, take care of it and it'll take care of you. Like Ron said look at the 350, I was all set to get a 250 and then I discovered that for a little more money I could get all the truck I'd ever...

    Delay from reverse to Drive

Robert I hate to say this but last time I experienced that problem it was tranny rebuild time, this was on my '95 with the E4OhDamn. Now hopefully that's not it and servicing/flush/re-fill will fix it, clogged filter or something.

    RACES/ARES Radio Go Box

Got my novice ticket in '83, and upgraded to General a couple of years ago, girls got in the way :roflmao How many of you guys have HF priviledges?? If there's a few of us we need to set up a net or something, or maybe something with echolink for the no-code tech guys. The Diesel Net on...

Do You Diesel Guys Test W/Blackstone?

Used to send in samples every 10k on the '95, but have been remiss on the 06. Guess I need to do it with oil change. Robert mine is past due for that dreadful service, and I do believe I'll have Ford do it as well.
