    Thanks for the info guys. He has been running in the stock setting since the light has been coming on. And he now believes me that he needs guages to be running a chip like this. Gonna leave it on stock until he gets them.

    Retrieving DTC's

    Just wondering, since I do not have access to a scanner, is it possible to get DTC's through the dash somehow? I'm not having any trouble, just thought it might be some good information to have.

    I use mine, on a timer for 2-3 hours, anytime the temps. are below 20 degrees.

    Question What did you do to your truck today?

    Cleaned out the air filter, checked all the fluids, adjusted the tire pressures. Re-tightened all the clamps on the new exhaust. Checked all the clamps on the intake.

    I would say to use the same wax you would use on clear coat paint. Polish may scuff the wheels even more. Just my thoughts. I always waxed my clear coated wheels. :dunno

    coolant leak

    Installing a coolant filter, like the one sold at Dieselsite.com, is a great way to extend waterpump life. Gets all the grit and crud out of the system that wears out you'r water pump.

    You'r 06 is a 6.0L engine. The 02 would of had a 7.3L, so I would say no, it will not work. Unless You'r friend got the year wrong. The 6.0L was not put in these trucks until sometime in 2003. Welcome to SDD. You'll find the answer to that question and many more here.

    Another good deal.
