    ESOF hub part number

    Thanks guys. Last summer I had the hubs out and cleaned and regreased them, but I still have trouble with them sticking in the locked position sometimes. Sometimes they will not engage. Think I might just put a set of Warm lockouts in. Cheaper than the ESOF hubs.

    Foil Delete?

    I removed the foil on my pipes over the summer. Mostly to paint the pipes. Looks better that way, I think anyway. I noticed a little more turbo noise from under the hood after I did it.

    HPO x-over hose

    I used the stainless steel line from ITP. Was a little more expensive than the hoses, but it fits good, and it will take alot more abuse before it will leak.

    do 4wd fr axels spin in 2wd?

    X2 I had an auto hub hang up on my last winter. Stayed locked even though I turned the switch to 2wd. They can be taken apart and regreased, just do it sparingly. Heard someone on here once say to use ATF to lube them. Sounds like a good idea to me.

    I hear that. PA doesn't post the ratings either. I was in NY state this weekend, and they also post the ratings on the pump. If they can post the rating of gas, why not diesel? :dunno

    Front Axle Shaft Main Seal - Loose

    X2 what Dave said. My dust seals came out on mine. Had the axle seals replaced when the ball joints were done, and the dust seals are out again. It's not leaking, so I'm not to concerned about it. Seems to me they come out on all of these trucks. :dunno

    Question What did you do to your truck today?

    Just finished removing the foil and painting my intercooler pipes. The paint looks a little orange in the pictures, but it is actually high temp. Ford red. Also washed the batteries in some baking soda and cleaned the terminals while they were out.

    I got mine on E-bay at a great price. No idea what brand they are, cause it said nowhere on or in the box. Had them since 2004 and so far I haven't had any problems.
