    Unless you buy used, how much of a discount do you realistically expect to get? Trying to buy a $1400+ setup for less than a grand is a ~35% discount and that's pretty unrealistic.

    When I was thinking about installign an inverter, I was going to use fused, heavy-gauge welding cable connected directly to the passenger's-side battery.

    Leveling Kit or Add-A-Leaf?

    I went with a Revtek leveling kit that included new, complete replacement front springs and I was quite tickled with it. I haven't noticed any significant sagging and the shop who installed it said it went in really smoothly.

    Just got a call from the shop where I took it this morning--turns out that the rotors are just a little warped (nothing big enough to justify the expense of cryo'ed/slotted rotors) and the u-joints are both OK, but the carrier bearing is shot so they're thinking that is what was causing the shaking.

    It's not chrome, but I know Jet-Hot can apply a shiny silver ceramic coating that should last longer than chrome underhood, plus it will help keep engine bay heat out of the pressurized section of the intake.

    I've been thinking about a Superchips XCal2 from DP-Tuner. Since you can get Jody's programs, you don't have to live with one-size-fits-all stock programs and that's a pretty good deal.
