    Defueling at 93 MPH?

When I had a TS chip, the 140hp program removed the speed limiter, so did the 100 and 125 settings too. Did you get your switch in? Was this running the chip? What was your boost level? Truck will defuel at 25psi without something to keep the map from seeing that level.

help ran out of fuel and ow my truck wont start

No pump in my tank.:dunno The white part on the pick up is the mixing chamber to mix warm return fuel with new fuel to avoid gelling fuel lines in cold climates. Too bad the return fuel is full of air and causes cackle.

    Post Fuel Pump Filter?

I've given a lot of thought to this. Especially last week when I was having to replace an HPOP line. With the Stealth, the elimination of the bowl would be great! I have a Racor filter tagged in the catalog at work. As a post pump whatever you use has to withstand 70psi at least. When I...

That's pretty slick. Purge time will definitely be a plus! What Racor are you going with?

    Potential Engine repair/replacement avoided!!

Wow...that's interesting. B20 will NOT clean your tanks that fast. B99 might, but more like a few tanks. You prolly got poorly reacted biodiesel and had free glycerine that clogged your filter. The quality control of BD is a joke and the biggest hurdle for widespread approval by the...

Leak Repairs & Filter Replacement Today.......

What was the hose rated at? What are the materials used in hose? Running B99? I would say yes BD helped degrade your hose. The seal on the filter are nitrile and hold up decently to BD but do swell over time. With the residue in the bowl, yes I believe you were at max restriction and...

    Coolant

The injector cups in the early models aren't compatible with the HOAT type coolant the G-O5 gold supposedly. The heck with gold...a heavy duty ELC like the Cat ELC or Fleetrite ELC are way better and compatible with any year model. Just make sure you get all the old coolant out and DON'T...

    tried some B-100 ???

I doubt you are getting B100. B99.9 prolly so that the seller can get their 1$/gallon tax credit. I saw a slight mileage drop, but no where near 2mpg. I saw about .5 mpg less over 450 gallons. Tbar...as for the animal fat and cetane boosting....I went and saw my producer a week ago...

    Bean or dynomite?

 Ryan Casserly builds Bean's custom injectors in Murfreesboro, TN. Since you bought new sticks maybe Bean buys them from DDP which is in WA. Also Beaner uses stock nozzles on Stage 1's. I myself would go with Bean if I didn't work for a fuel shop. But since you live close...

    ticking oil pressure gauge????????

Hmmm....the injectors wouldn't affect the LPO side of the system in my thinking. If you tapped in closer to the HPOP maybe and injector issue. Do you think it could have to do with the modded front cover?

Where did you tap into the oil system for pressure? Down by the oil filter?

    What do ya'll think

Only way to get more boost is to add fuel. Easiest way to add fuel is tuning. Are you still running stock programming? If so, your 18 is about all you're going to get no matter what you do. 10K mod will add a little fuel.

    Mileage on other 7.3's??

Unloaded I get anywhere from 15-21mpg. That includes driving like an idiot(15mpg) and sensible(21 is my best on the highway.) Towing heavy(10K+) I get around 13mpg. Towing around 5k on a 3000 mile trip last summer I averaged 15mpg @80mph on 100% biodiesel. I also agree that ULSD causes...

    00' 7.3 still broken

A leaking injector o-ring would drain the HPO rails in the heads, not the reservoir. New front cover will prolly fix it since the rest of the oil system has been replaced. The reservoir draining is the root of his issues IMO.

    Cetane Boosters

I use Stanadyne performance formula. Why?....Because I can get it where I work. I've run PS and FPPF Fuel Power before and the Stanadyne smoothed out my idle the most. I even use with B99. Any fuel injection shop that's Stanadyne authorized should have it, other wise there are a few...

    Surging part-throttle

The pedal is the TPS as already stated, possibly could be that. Sticking IPR could also cause that. Only way I know to diagnose with out R&Ring the IPR valve is a scan tool to see if the ICP is jumping up and down when the surging occurs.

FUEL LEAK < fuel lines to head >

Welcome to SDD! :sweet There are o-rings at that fitting. It slided over the steel line, steel line goes into the fitting in the head, collar slides over the o-ring and tightens to the fitting in the head. It usually leaks at the point, I've never heard of one leaking from where the...
