    I didn't do it for mileage.:dunno From the first time I rode in Blowby's truck I knew I had to have dual pumps! Being down in RPMs with a stick makes it even more enjoyable to have twice the volume at whatever RPM.

    Stock tuning uses 3000 psi ICP. It's just when you ask for longer pulse width to get all the fuel out is when the HPOP is taxed and an aftermarket unit is favored. IC piping removal, fuel bowl removal, HPOP reservoir removal, drive gear bolt removal. The rest will vary on the system.

    Sounds like a good alternative. I've never heard of them. Only thing that comes to my mind would be the clamping load. If it's too much the OEM hydraulics won't handle it since they are plastic.

    With keeping the stock fuel bowl and 1/8th NPT fittings, 3/8ths is about all that's needed.

    1/8th" male NPT to JIC or what ever fitting you have on the hose end. The factory uses a vibra-lok fitting(like on the return regulator) that screws into the filter housing. Same on the outlets like stated in the fuel system WIKI.

    One simple way of looking at it is.... In a drag race you can run the same elapsed time in the quarter mile but one run will have higher MPH through the traps. Which do you think was making more HP? Torque gets it moving....HP keeps it moving.

    Yes...with double the volume available you can have 3000+ psi of ICP at the blip of the throttle.

    Some may believe additives are snake oil....not all of them are. All diesel engines NEED to have an additive if they are running ULSD! With a little over a year of use around here is showing it's effects. ULSD is more hydroscopic and attracts water...you need a water dispersant. Cetane...

    When I had a fuse blown under the hood I got a Batt light on mornings below 30F last winter. It would throw a Dual Alt DTC when I scanned it. I believe the dual system is PCM controlled, not sure on singles.

    Randy??:confused: Don't you mean Dennis? I've sold a couple of MP-8s at work. No complaints from the customers. It's plug-n-play using the ICP and MAP sensors. The module stays under the hood with a dial in the cab for on the fly adjustability.

    Make sure the inner fender is in place and that NO moisture is getting to the IDM. I never will understand why it's placed where it is.

    High pressure oil system that flows more than stock. Most common are dual pump set ups like Stealth, Terminator and BTS. New are the single large pumps like the Pulse and new version of the Stealth.

    I gained close to 1 MPG better. Driveability out weighs all the other factors of big oil.
