    HELP, SHE'S COLD-BLOODED!!!!

My guess would be EBPV....as long as the engine oil temp is below 150 degrees it's going to do it's thing. You may unplug the EBPV at the pedistal to see if that's it. Also you really shouldn't let rpms get over 2000 until temps are up.

i got my new banks ram-air intake today

When you say .03 do you mean 3/100ths of a micron? If so that would need cleaning WAY to often in my driving conditions, and if it was 3 years ago that you talked to them then my old Airaid had the same rating and got pin holed too quick for my liking. I don't really care about...

    Wicked Wheel Quick ?

The shop that rebuilds our irrigation and tractor engine turbos balances them. They told me the wheels are balanced separately from the shaft. So as long as your new wheel has notches on the edge from balancing you should be ok. Also I would pull the turbo, remove the exhaust housing and...

i got my new banks ram-air intake today

Now from Airaid site.... .02 is not 2 microns....they test down to .3 microns but don't say how much of that they actually catch. Just trying to clarify, .02 microns is REALLY small.

i got my new banks ram-air intake today

Where did you find those numbers and which filter media was tested? K&N uses a 3 layer media last I read and my Airaid for my 7.3L was a 5-layer. I'm willing to bet that the AFE tested where you got your info was not the PG7. The Banks having an 8-layer media is the first I've heard of.

    xhaust question!

A turbo creates it's own backpressure. Pressure after the turbo should be around 2-3pis ideally according to garrett.

New here and need some info. Picked up Used lifted 99 dually

Negative ghost rider....front relay on top of the engine is for the intake air heater, not the starter. The regulator is prolly going to the MAP sensor to prevent an overboost code. There is no MAF sensor on a 7.3L. Some like to disconnect the WG, I personally lost .2 secs at the...

how much oil do you consume?

:nutkick: :nutkick: Thanks Richard! You guys suck....mine uses 2-4qts per 5K. I've got 125K on the clock but have been dusted from my old AirAid intake coupler that was too small and letting the hose work loose. Then I realized the filter was pin holed.

    HPOP capabilities

What is Tony asking for? When I talked to Tony about tuning he didn't recommend the high numbers some are running. I've seen 4500psi spikes when upshifting but not sustained. Didn't you know that the Stealth isn't capable of high pressures.:roflmao

    HPOP capabilities

The OP has an OBS which has a smaller HPOP than the SDs. It won't support stage 2's very well. No way a good early HPOP could hold 2400psi for very long on an aggressive tune. BTW....2400psi is nothing....you should feel what 3150psi at the blip of the throttle is like, even on stock SD...

    Help Code p1211

Unplug the ICP sensor and see if it starts with a default voltage. May be a bad ICP sensor. On AE software, the 1212 code shows low ICP when cranking. Have you checked your HPOP reservoir level? The gauge needs to go the HPO rail. The plugs are #5 o-ring boss and are NOT tapered...

    Help Code p1211

Do you have a scan tool? Check ICP during cranking with a scan tool or mechanical gauge rated for 4000psi minimum. Also check wiring to IPR.

    Help Code p1211

Your chip is demanding a certain PSI of high pressure oil and the HPOP not being able to keep up. TS's 140 is notorious for that, too much ICP wanted for the amount of pulse width being used.:2c

do you think this would work?

I'm not 100% sure but I believe the 466 and 530 pumps rotate the opposite direction than ours. I believe thats what BTS system is made from. I have seen a BTS system on a truck in CO(back in '05 before the big oil craze) and it's a stacked setup, hence the need for the top pump to rotate the...
