    Fuel leak

Only thing back by the turbo would be the fuel feed line for the passenger side head. The o-ring on the fitting at the head tend to deteriorate and leak down the bellhousing on to the ground. Is fuel making it to the ground or is it just in the valley?

    Injector replacement

AutoEnginuity is a great tool if you plan on keeping your PSD for a long time. I highly recommend it, I got it from ITP. I'm not sure about the 96's but the SD 7.3s have "crank shaft rotational velocity %change" PID. That can really tell you if you have an injector on the way out. A...

    Where to Hide-A-Key

Been there done that while out at the farm. Truck was running too! I now carry 2 keys in my pocket. One set is the key fob with all the usual keys, the other is truck key, tool box key and aux. tank lock key on just a key ring and I barely notice they're in my pocket.

    propane injection????

80/20 water meth is considered very safe. 50/50 is safe and as far as I would go. Water is good for cooling. I personally would never use pane on a 6oh with only 2 rows of head bolts.

    dtc code problem '02 powerstroke

When you say blew a HPO line, how did it break? When you were getting the code more often was there ever oil in the valley leaking to the ground? It may have set the code then from a HPO leak in the hose letting the ICP fall off. The 1211 ICP code is often set by hot rod tunes calling for...

    Potential Engine repair/replacement avoided!!

LOL! I drove 125 miles one way to get B100 for about 5 months. Bought a 100g tank for the bed and got fuel about once a month. If you do go that route, get an aluminum tank for corrosion resistance. You guys like the B20? You should hear how they run on higher blends!:thumbs I...

    Injector replacement

Decreased by half? That's alot! Are you running ULSD? Have you ever had your oil analyzed to see if there's fuel in it from bad o-rings? Easiest way to see if injectors are bad is with a scan tool to see if all cylinders are contributing well.

8th Annual NTxPSA Rally @ Caddo Mills KOA, May 18-20, 2007

If Big K doesn't mind, I might be able to get a mobile Dynojet there at $80 for 3 pulls HP and TQ. I need 20 confirmed trucks for that price. If I can get more to confirm the price will go down. The club won't have to spend anything. I'll also knock off 5 bucks if there's an SDD sticker on...

    Fuel gelled this morning...

JV...I see you have done the Hutch mods. What kind of filter are you using before the pump since you removed the screens? Reason I ask is because last year when I was using the cheapy 99cent filter it gelled on a day that the high was 12F. With out the mixing chamber mixing warmed fuel...

    Boss is broken

    Turbo Question?

I have the 1.0 ex. housing from bean's. I like the fact of no WG. You just control boost with your right foor instead of relying on the WG. With the wheel and ATS housing I'm seeing max boost of around 27psi. I went with the 1.0 because I didn't want to suffer lag probs down low with my...

    filter bowl pitting

No WIF light? Weird...how deep was the sludge in the bottom? Did it contact the sensor? The only problem I have with the sludge being from trash coming loose is that water caused the pitting. If it was just junk being cleaned by the bio there would be no water.

    7.3 in a 6.0

    filter bowl pitting

 Holy cow! You've had some water in there for sure. Two months ago you had sludge in the bottom of the bowl and now you do again? Only time I've gotten sludge in the bottom of mine was when I got a load of bad fuel. Well also when the Dahl heater came apart. I would...

    Question about engine codes

Sorry I didn't see this earlier.:sorry Most people eliminate the mixing chamber all together and get rid of the screens. Although with the temps you see it may not be a good idea since you need a pre-pump filter after screen removal. The pre-pump would likely need to be heated in your...

    Performance HPOP?

Glad you are looking for info from those with first hand knowledge!:sweet I'm running single IPR at the moment with no problems after lifting the throttle. Jody programmed for it though. I had to run the pumps with my old Edge Evo and RPMs would dip after lifting when coming to a stop...

    Anyone seen this turbo?

That is the USA Turbo. It was first marketed as the High Tech turbo and is sold by many others like Industrial Injection(Phat Stroker) and some others. Not really sure who makes it but now Turbonetics has the same turbo with their name on the compressor housing. It's not a ball bearing...

    Performance HPOP?

Welcome to SDD! I have a Stealth System and it's the best mod I've done to my ride!:sweet No problems either. I've seen and ridden in a truck with BTS oil. At the time it was at around 425ish HP. Nice system with a hefty price! All the systems mentioned will do what they are...

    tire`s?

I second the Michelin's! That's what I have on my F-250.:thumbs Actually compared the BFG A/T KOs and the Michelins today on snow packed and icy roads. Dad's '03 CTD has BFGs and I've been driving it the last 2 days since we got 9" of snow over the weekend and it's 4wd. Drove it today...
