    hahahah. My wife HATES Mine and she has only heard it from a distance. She just rolls her eyes at me, but she HATES loud noises. Mine dont sound all that bad inside the cab, and in fact, I kinda think they arnt working right, but stand beside it on the outside and you JUMP! Plenty loud!!

    You buy the physical part, but you dont own the code/information contained inside. Thats copyrighted. Its like buying a DVD movie. You OWN the disk, but you cant "do whatever you want" with the content. Like make copies and sell them, or charge admission to watch it at a large hall. etc etc...

    Evans I believe. Since its not "water based", its supposed to not suffer from "cavitation". Its also a NON PRESSURIZED setup, so you drill a hole in your radiator cap.

    They should. Allows you to replace them if they get damaged, instead of changing out the whole thing. Mine unscrew, and I think MudHog's unscrew, and his are grovers I think. Mine are taiwan "yankee horn" rip-offs, but they sure are loud at 120psi!!!

    Unscrew those bells, take em up and have them "Soda Blasted". They use baking soda, and it takes the paint off, but DOES NOT get into the metal. Then get em chromed!

    OH, just got back in. Another project down. Hardwired by 110v AC invertor under the back seat and got my Playstation-2 installed and hooked up to my In-Dash monitor. Engine oil change happens this week and *THEN* I should be all set for my trip home!! w00 h00!!!

    There is only one filter, and that is the internal tranny filter mounted in the pan. Its about a 200 micron filter and is nothing more than a sponge designed to stop LARGE particles.     I have APCs now, and they should be able to handle the heat. I know what your talking about tho. When I drilled my parkinglights and brake lights to install my strobe bulbs, the "chrome" material inside was VERY thin.

    Speedometer Calibration Question

    See above post. Thats how different! The other option is to by a speed recalibration box from one of the aftermarket companies. I think its called a "tru-Speed" or something. Its a spendy box, but it allows you to recal without going to the dealer.
