    If you intake boost tube was oily that could cause the hose to blow off again. Take it off and clean hose and pipe with brake cleaner. I have heard hair spray makes them stick on good.

    Found this in my dump truck tire today. Tire was flat. Looks like a steel cased .223 full metal jacket live round. The end with the primer was facing out and is all wore down. At least someone was throwing bullets at me not shooting them.Lol

    Stainless lines should give a firmer pedal because stock lines will swell under pressure. Cryoed rotors last longer when run with ceramic or high performance pads

    If I grab by my front axle ujoint and lift the axle outer end up and let it drop down it seems to have close to a 1/8 inch play in it. Is this normal? I have no noises or grinding. Do they use a caged needle bearing like a Dana? doe

    I have run B-20 and I agree it is quieter but lose power and mileage. When minnesota first started adding bio a number of years ago it was b2 then b5 and they had trouble with bio made from animal fats. They have it figured out now and we make millions of gallons a year from soybeans and fat.

    Minnesota now mandates B-10 at all pumps. I guess its good for lubeing up injectors but sure messes mileage up. I don't know what new truck warranty states for max Bio but my 2006 was B-5. Hopefully nobody has an issue and has to fight the state, dealers, and Bio producers

    Sounds like you only have a 2inch block. The bottom one that wraps around axle is welded on and is a spring perch. You won't change angles enough to notice buy replaceing with a 4inch block. You might need longer u-bolts.

    I would stay away from longer shackles because of them changing u-joint angle and possible sway issues.

    If I'm thinking right you would have to have 2inch longer shackles to get a 1inch rise. If you want it to ride more level when loaded you could try air bags or add a leaf to overloads. What year truck are we talking about?

    Looks like a fairly rust free car for a restore. A v-6 should help save a few bucks towards a v-8 in fuel costs. What you doing to the 400. I'm sure it won't be stock.

    The carrier bearings may be pitted because of the water issue. That could be the noise. A teardown is the only way to check it out or run it till it makes more noise than you can stand.

    Question 05 6L no start at all

    Your low pressure pump is on frame rail drivers side. It holds one of the fuel filters too. Right by transfer case. You should have around #50 at the second fuel filter next to your oil filter in eng compartment.

    Brake Job on my 2011

    About a year ago I had to replace my right rear caliper. Napa said they sell a few because of the salt corrosion we have up here from winter road sat making them stick. I did just the one side and seems fine. Only 50k on it then. Like whats been said. Big c clamp works.

    Logging Conference

    When we go on our ATV trip out in western South Dakota in the Black Hills it never ceases to amaze me how they cut, trim, cut to length, stack and load with very little or no manual labor. We sit around and watch every time we come across them. It would be fun to play with them.
