    I picked up a Lisle oil and fuel filter socket set # 14650 for around $25 that comes in a plastic case that includes a 35/36mm 29mm 32mm in 3/8th drive. You can pick up Lisle individual sockets on ebay cheap.

    Husqvarna or stihl. Like good tools or guns, you get what you pay for. They hold their value and last long enough to pass down to your kids.

    I've been looking into buying a used husky hitch with sway bar that seems to be in very good shape. Have been pulling a 24ft. enclosed and our 26ft travel trailer without to much sway but would like the security of a good hitch. The 350 handles them well but they don't trail like my goosenecks do.

    Is it overkill to use a 1200lb. tongue weight 12000lb. total trailer weight eqaulizer hitch on a trailer that is under 8000lbs. ? Do you go by the weight rateing for a hitch trailer combo for it to work right? I really don't have a clue when it comes to this kind of hitch setup.

    Edge Insight should work on you truck. Their web page looks like it will work on anything. I have one on a 6.0 an it works fine. No tunes on them just monitors all the stock sensors plus you can add a pyro for egts.

    I run neapco's in the bronco. Driveshaft and axle joints that have a lifetime warranty. So far no failures. Looks to be made well.

    The pumps around here are no. 1 and no.2. If you want a blend you do it yourself. The BP station is the only one that has winter blended fuel and it shows by the price difference. I was just asking if the refinery makes up something different like they do for gasoline. Maybe its just a thing...

    Once you get your new joints installed if they don't turn free try hitting the curved part of the yoke just below the cap with a big hammer while holding the driveshaft. You have to give it a pretty sharp rap and most of the time it will loosen it right up. Works for me.

    Red you said you were waiting for the winter blend to go away. I bought a load of fuel this winter and my fuel man said there was no difference unless you bought it with a no. 1 diesel mix. Anybody have any proof of what if anything they do to winter fuel?:dunno

    My son talked to the guy he bought the truck from the other day. He had been looking for a truck with an auto trans to replace the Dodge for pulling his camper. Well now he bought a 06 F-250 SD diesel. At 64 he finally came to his senses. HA HA

    Wed. my son and I flew to Dallas to pick up a truck that he bought. He's finally back in a diesel since he got rid of my old SD to get a Toyota. Now for the bad part, it's a Dodge. 06 4 door cummins one ton with a 6 speed and only 18k. We drove it home 1100 miles and got around 17mpg at 75 to 80...

    Fuel storage

    I put two 80 oz. diesel service grey bottles in that I got at avanced auto for $8.50 a jug. It's supposed to help with long term storage according to the instructions. Diesels still going down so I should have waited a little longer but Its just a gamble that it will go back up.

    Help Needed interesting issue with a tony wildman chip..

    I had a connection problem on the 01 when I installed a switch chip. Don't wiggle the connector with the key on or engine running cuz I found out how easy it is to fry your computer. Hope you find your problem.

    I would go back to that station and complain. If it is gas in your tank then you won't be the only one with problems. Get them to pay for your drain job, filters and fresh diesel.
