    I'm on county roads. My route is 33 miles one way so like 66 miles round trip plus I have to go back over everything again to widen or wing off the shoulders and intersections. then I have to sand for some of the motorgrader routes and if its blowing out its just round and round all day long...

    I hope the senate gets on the ball and approves this bill cuz with Minnesota haveing a mandated bio program diesel will cost more here than other states. Makes you wonder who's side their on in this alternative energy issue.

    Didn't expect it to get that cold last night. Kinda like Crumm or Canadian weather. Last week it was 35 degrees and 16" of snow. Did get 41 hours overtime plowing and sanding tho. Seems like winter arrived during x-mass and new year with a bang. What ever happened with that global warming thing?

    8-11mpg towing, 10-12mpg city, maybe 14mpg highway. I had the dealer hook up a scan tool and give me a printout of 65mph fuel mileage and it was 14.1mpg with the stock tires. They said NORMAL mpg. The 7.3 did alot better.

    I put a Fia winter front on and finally found a used leer 100r topper that is color matching. The engine temps went up 15-20 degrees and helped with fuel mileage too, at least acording the the lie-o meter.

    I wouldn't worry about filters. I go 15k with no problems. When bio was first mandated several supplyers got bad bio from grease not soybean bio but they seemed to have figured out what not to do.

    My truck a 06 came from a dealer in Omaha Neb. and the cord if it would of had one was a 80 some dollar option. Bought a $20 cord from the local parts store that fit most over the road big diesel rigs too.

    Mine will do the same thing but hasn't done it since the weather turned cold. Dealer gives me the same reply you got. It won't throw a code so they have nothing to go by. I think mine is the HPOP conection too but just can't get the dealer to do it.

    Mileage will be different depending who you ask but I have kept track of mine since new and haven't averaged 12. It pulls whatever I put behind it and it's 4 tons so I woundn't expect 18 but 15-16 would be nice.

    Thanks for the replys. A 34 ft antenna sure would slap alot of things on the road. From what was said and what I've read placement and tuning is the key. I bought a mirror mount, 4ft. firestik antenna and a 18 ft. chunk of coax that is recomended. Now just got to install and tune this weekend.

    When antenna's are listed with 1/4 wave. double quarter wave and 5/8 wave what are they talking about? I got a new cobra 29 and it doesn't seem to work well with the factory am, fm, cb antenna thats on my work truck. It isn't tuneable so I can't get my swr's low. I'm leaning toward a wilson...

    35s with Stock Suspension

    With a leveling kit they will fit but mine rub at full turn on the mud flaps. Wheel offset will make this difference. Different tires will be taller or shorter too. My pro comps are under 34".
