    Air filter

I'll make sure its a donaldson but sounds better than $100. If Zman made it to 55k how far you other guys run them to. I'm pretty much on hard roads all the time with very little gravel roads so mine could go longer.

    Air filter

I can get a napa air filter during their filter sale for under $40. Are they as good as motorcraft? I have 40k on mine but it still looks clean.

FYI I't's rain'n here in Cali again..

You could of kept a little bit more of that moisture out there in Cali. We are in a winter storm warning for 11-14 inches of snow with winds, freezing rain and sleet starting tonight. Did I mention maybe some thunder and lighting with it. Had a week of 30's and 40's so thought spring was close...

    Towing with the 6.7L

I have the 06 with an auto and it tows fine, Just with a few more rpms to get things rolling than the 7.3 I had before. Both had 3.73 gears. The tranny seems to like a 40-60hp tow tune to make it stay in lockup and not hunt for gears tho.

    Fluidampr pulley

If you were building a high reving engine it might help but I don't think you would benifit from it at low rpms.

Fresh motor for the drag season

Started out last year making a 434 small block for the F-100 but it died on the dyno. Don't make a 59lb crank weight 46lbs and expect it not to break. Now a 427 small block is taking its place. Made 803hp and 644tq so should be in the 9's this year. Super Duty will be prowd pull'n it around.

Question My truck sucks at towing, and here's why

I see you said max front and 70 rear. Does that mean 80 in front? I run 65 in front and 80 rear, but thats what works for me. Hope you work it out.

    Plug in or not?

The fuel up here is a mixture of no. 1 and no. 2 at some stations but most have straight 1 or 2 at the pumps and you blend your own or add additive to no. 2. Our electricity is under $0.10 so heater doesn't cost much to run overnight or all day. I only use it if it is under 15 degrees but it...

    Trail ride

Yesterday a few guy and gals from the off-road club I belong to had a little get together in the woods. It got up to -3 but with no wind. We have had over 50 inches of snow so far this year but it has settled out a bit. About a dozen rides showed up. Just a few pics. Warmed up from the -22 we...

    SCT tuner killed my truck

If I got a used tuner from someone I would go to SCT's website and hook up the programer and download the newest versions and tunes before trying it on your truck. By all means save the stock tune on you computer. I lost my stock once and sct was very helpfull in retreaving it.

Tbar turn off the snow machine

I'm with Roy on this one. Over 4 feet of snow highs in the high teens to 20 and lows 0 to 10 degrees. Winds have been under 20 mph so windchills aren't to much below zero. Winds might get up to 40 mph this weekend so I might have to bundle up a little more but otherwise not bad.

    What would this be for?

My brother is the line foreman there. They have had alot of openings over the years as guys out of tech school use them as a first job then move on to a job closer to home or bigger bucks.

    What would this be for?

We warmed up excavators and cats so they would start in below zero weather. It took awhile.

    What would this be for?

    news

no-red-6 0 I like that. Ha Ha Sorry no pics of plowing or pulling stuff out of ditches. It wasn't that fun this time with a tenth or two of ice under all that snow with big drifts. Only plowed at 15 mph, any faster and it slid you off the road. At least the OT was nice. Glad you still got to go...
