    I'm not looking to do it yet. I only have 105k on this one and am hoping for at least another 100k, but I was sitting here thinking about it I know there are a lot of improvements you could do while rebuilding a 6.0. Just curiousity more than anything else....... :)

    I had this same problem when I got my truck. Check all your wires around the rear bumper. My short was on the lights that light up the license plate.

    $60 for fuel filters?!?!?!?! Bama....are you sure? I get mine at the International dealer here in town for $35. The Fomoto valve and the plug for the fuel filer/water speerator are great time savers. I buy my oil at Walmart too (the only thing I will buy at walmart)......$8.69...

    Warm weather additive

    So since I live in Omaha, NE, I have to use antigel in the winter. What I don't know about is if I have to use additive in the summer? I have went one summer with using it and one without. Really didn't notice any difference, but that doesn't mean it doesn't do something. Any suggestions?

    Just posted about this actually!! 100,458 miles belts and hoses (lots of bad words like mustangmuscle) battery 1 egr valve oil and filter every 5k miles fuel filters ever 10k miles Running like a champ!!! Plan on driving it to 200k!!!

    Magic 100k mark!!

    Well...I hit it.....the magic 100,000 mile mark. Actually at 100,458 now. No major issues. I have had one EGR valve go bad and that is it. I am hopeing to drive it to 200,000.......fingers are crossed!!! I change oil every 5k. Fuel filters every 10k. I barely tow with it (a dog trailer...

    When my truck was "bucking" like that, it was the EGR. It was really dirty. Replaced/cleaned that up and it was good to go.

    Yeah....go turbo back. I live in NE and bought the Silverline 4" turbo back. Only thing I don't like about the Silverline is the 2 piece downpipe from the turbo. Otherwise, I like it.

    Oh yeah....I usually keep on top of adding teh antigel......just plain forgot. Howes will be in every tank until March. Well that makes me feel a little better. As soon as we get a little warmer weather (at least 30 degrees!!!!) I will do a filter service. Thanks everyone!!

    Gelled up, fixed...any long term effects?

    So I pulled a rookie move and let my truck gell up over the weekend. I got her all "unwaxed" and running fine. I was just curious if there are any long term effects that happen to the motor or fuel system when that happens? Anything I should prepair for down the road? Thanks!

    Thanks for all the help guys! Got it going last night about 6pm. Had to pull both filters (the bottom one looked like a candle when I pulled it out) and clean them up with some 911. Got them all good and then put in some Howes and the rest of the 911. Got her running, drove her for 20-30 miles...

    Well...did the whole thing, got her running for about 5 min over lunch then she started to run rough and died again. I am going to pull the filters after work and clean them off and then put them back in and see if I can get her running. Wish me luck! I am going to need it out here in this 4...
