    Well, after a new GPR, then glow plugs and another GPR, two cans of ether, and plugging it in every night, even when it's 35 degrees out... I got a new scanner. Traded in the MODIS on a VERSUS with the wireless this, wireless that and wireless the other thing.. Playing around with it...

    had to ether Mighty Whitey to get it started to leave work last night.. stopped by O'Really? and got $175 worth of glow plugs and relay on the way home.. it's been plugged in all night, BUT.. it was 0* out.. will it start so I can move it into the barn?

    the NAPA one is a renumbered starter relay.. I think mine's already junk and it's only a couple months old.. what did I do to my truck today? PLUGGED IT IN SO IT WOULD START!!!!!!!!!!

    a VSS is an AC pulse generator anyway.. both wires are hot AND ground Think about it.. the rear axle is suspended in rubber bushings on the shackles and the shock absorbers. It's insulated. I'd just take a braided strap like a chassis ground and go from a diff cover bolt to the frame...

    Hope you had full coverage. Your insurance is going to be the responsible party here. The dealer's liability is limited to "care in possession" which means, if they wreck it while test driving it, etc. The only way the dealers insurance is going to cover, would be if one of the dealerships...

    I think I've put my last NAPA glow plug relay on.. they fail every year, and usually when I'm running late for work.. I took a good close look at the one coming off before I heaved in the trash, and I think I've figured out why the fail.. it's a starter relay that's been renumbered...

    Question 7.3 sounds like somebody hitting it with a hammer is this injector knock

    not to be a bummer or anything, but it could be the clutch in the torque convertor is busted.. mine had a hammering noise it made from the first day I had it until I had the trans rebuilt..
