    BTS tranny?

I would love to take a week off, but it looks like we will be having a busy summer drilling water wells up here. There has been such a lack of precipitation, even this winter we only had about a foot of snow. So unfortunately I would have to keep the time off to a minumum. The boss wouldn't...

    BTS tranny?

That is what I was thinkin'. It would take about 3 tanks there and 3 tanks bank in fuel. I could take a couple of days off relax a bit and get it done. That way there would be no tax, no shipping (there and back for the core) and no problems. And I could get any questions answered that I...

    BTS tranny?

Well after no success in finding HD parts for my tranny I may have to start savin' and go with a BTS tranny. Since these tranny's are all the rave on this site and guys have had many miles on them without troubles. I've got a couple of questions for guys that have them. Does the BTS come with...

    replacing Tranny guts

Is everyone rich on here, have a large disposable income, and just buy the whole tranny. Someone has to have just replaced common parts in the tranny that fail.

so much for all my hard work!!

I'd say you should get him to fish plate the whole frame and not just where it bent........say with maybe 1/4" steel. Sounds like this guy would need it.:D

    replacing Tranny guts

My tranny is still in running order, at the moment, but I am positive that various parts will not last very long (ie tourqe converter). I don't have a large amount of money to be replacing the whole tranny but would like some options on some parts to beef it up that would have no problem...

    Old School Bug Shield

If you wanna make your own try your local glass shop for some Lexan it is way better than plexi-glass. My old man has a 4x8 sheet for a moon-roof on his 1947 fargo and it has hole drilled every 4" or so, it's been on there for about 6 years. Or there is another brand of lexan type material...

    40 Reasons to Ban Firearms

That is just about the same as they were trying to do here, exept you aren't allowed to carry handguns here anyways. They were trying to get us to register our hunting rifles, I mean c'mon if someone wanted to kill someone here with a gun it sure as hell would not be registered in their own...

    7.3 Powerstroke Diesel Down!

And there's your proof not to put a larger fuse were it should not be. Or else other problems may arise. Glad you got her figured out.

    Yep, they fixed it!!

If the pinion bearing was/is gone the mech. should have picked up on that if he has any clue at all. If he doesn't he has no right touching your rear end.:D Pun intended. LOL

    Ball Joints at 67k miles?????

SD's love to eat their ball joints and tie rod ends. You're actuall tires could be a problem too, sometimes balancing does nothing for them. And as for the brakes you're rotors are probably warped so you should get them shaved down a bit to take out the warp. Then change your front end parts...
