    We went to the Dixie stampede instead, and it was great. Two great shows, and looking forward to tomorrow. I think we are scheduled for the Pro Bass Shop tomorrow. The horses and riders were spectacular. It was a dinner show, and the food was fantastic. :sweet Maxtor

    Dave, you don't know how hard it was to find someone to house sit. They get from $300-$500 per month, depending on if there is any pets or livestock to feed and water. All our sprinklers and drip systems are on timers.

    We are paying a lady to house sit, so she gets free rent, electricity, water, television, and gets paid to boot. The only service we shut off was the paper.

    Not at this time, but we are trying to be flexible. Nothing is set in stone. We are just enjoying going from place to place. After Branson, we will be in Tennesee. After that, we will try to work our way down to Florida. Now if they have a hurricane, then Florida is out... :D

    Hmmm thats great Robert. We have been averaging around 13.8 but our 5th wheel is a lot lighter than yours. Our 5th wheel is only about 10,000 lbs. and that is pulling at 1750 rpm, which is a about 64 mph. Best is 15.3 with a side/tail wind, and worse so far is 10.0 in a direct headwind. You...

    We have averaged around 13.8 on our trip. A high of 15.3 and a low of 10.0 mpg. The 15.3 was with a side/tail wind, the 10.0 was a full on head wind.

    Our friends had a family emergency and could not see us, so we went from Amarillo Texas to Guthrie Oklahoma.. My brother lives in pawhuska Oklahoma, so I hope I am feeling better to travel to Pawhuska tomorrow.

    trailer brake controller.

    I did not take my owners manual with us on this trip, and right now the trailer brake controler is set at 6.0 ,,, Is this about right for 30 foot 5th wheel? It seems that the trailer is doing a lot of the work. I would like to put more bias on the truck, but do not know whether to go up or down.
