    I think those stock temp. gauges are like the trans. temp. gauges in the 02's. They are more of an idiot light. They creep up to about half way then stop. And I imagine if they move past that your already screwed kind of like when the idiots lights come on after it's already too late.

    Since I'm using the plugged port in my water pump for my coolant filter, can I use one of these plugged ports in the coolant filter cap for the senor? Will I get an acurate reading? Thanks. Jamie

    Bill, I went with DI's shim kit and guage. I got it used from Hammer when he got his fuel system.

    Will the AIC wireing for the Econoline kit hook up in an Excursion? If not, how hard would it be to make it work?
