    diesel kleen

Hammer posted the MSDS for Ford's additive. It is mostly Kerosene. That seems a little expensive for a bottle of Kerosene. But like I said, it's worth it to me to buy ONE if it has a good bottle for refilling with something else.

    Is this a good deal?

"Adds at least 5 - 15hp and 12-16 horsepower to your current performance while adds cooling edge to your car. Most importantly, it is proven to substantially increase horsepower." Does this part of the description sound kinda strange? or is it just me?

    north texas biodiesel

I've been wondering about something for a while. Once you have the WVO refined or whatever, does your truck have to be set up with some kind of way to burn this stuff, filters, extra tanks, etc. or do you just dump it in your stock fuel system and go?

    Its Friday

I've got about 3 hours left. Then about 2 hours of Excursion washing( 2 1/2 if my 4 year old helps). Then hopefully couch time and the end of the Angel game. Good weekend to all.

Thanks, Big red. Brakes are cheaper than Trannys so I guess I'll leave it alone.

    Exhaust Pressure Control Valve

Joe I'm interested in this mod also. I live on top of a 12% grade and 8,000# going down it everyday is not making my brakes real happy. Your gonna have to get out your pencil and do a DIY on this I think. :D Crapola, I just read 95stroker's post about the manuel trans. Nevermind.

    diesel kleen

One other thing. Does the bottle seal well? I keep some in a bottle in my Ex. but the Power Service bottles tend to leak just enough to fill the cab with that PS smell. I have a different bottle I just keep refilling but I think the cap is on it's last legs. Plus I'm kind of anal about...

It may just be a rumor but I've heard that the additive Ford has is actually Power Service in a Ford bottle. :dunno

    Engine light.

Hey guys, thanks for all the help. I'm getting the Diablo Pred. that powerboater had for sale in the marketplace. I talked to Jody and he said it is good code reader plus it has some diagnostic features I can play with also. I also told my Dad if he gets some gauges I will let him have the HP...

    Engine light.

Well, the little yellow engine light is on. I'm assumming it's an overboost code since my recent HP upgrades, but not positve. So I guess I'm going to have to get a code reader. Any suggestions on a reasonably priced reader that will read, define and clear codes? Thanks. Jamie

    Exhaust tip?

Anyone got any good ideas on how to go about getting the tip off the exhaust pipe? I've got a Banks ss 4". When I loosen the clamp it comes loose but the tip is still on so tight that it won't budge even when I try to tap it off with a hammer and chissel on the lip. I've tried putting ice on...

Tunes and new valve body are in!

Got my PCM back from Jody Friday and the BTS valve body Monday. Installed last night. I've only been on one test drive since the install but all I can say is WOW. I'm actually scared of it now and haven't even had the sack to switch in to the higher HP programs. The 80 HP is fast enough. The...

    chip install question

OK, I called Powerstroke shop. The fuse panels are $23.84. So I think i'll be putting my switch there and just get a replacement fuse cover if I need to move it or go to the dealer. I think the wireing is long enough to keep it out of the way when I need to get access to under the dash and it's...

Super Tech ATF from Wally World

I was at Wal Mart and the only ATF they had in stock was Super Tech. The price made me think I should check on the quality. I'm no longer going to do the complete flush tonight because I don't have the time. So I'm just going to put in the new valve body and replace whatever ATF that comes out...

    Trans. Fluid Flush

I would like to add a question to the previous one: For you guys who did the Sonnax mod on the 3 trucks that one weekend. On Bill's Ex. you mentioned in the Wiki that you may need a swivel or wrench for those rear pan bolts. What did you guys use? I also wanted to Bump my ? about the...

    chip install question

I was thinking a good place to put it if you have to drill a hole somewhere would be in the fuse panel. That way if you ever wanted to take it out or move it you could just get a replacement fuse panel and not be left with a hole in your dash. My problem is that I've checked some of the Ford...

    Multi-position Chip?

    Multi-position Chip?

I got my pcm back from Jody and can't figure out how to get the knob off so I can mount the switch. The instructions say the knob is held in place with a set screw, which I can't find. There is a hole in the side of the knob, but I don't see any kind of screw down in there. I've tried just...

    Trans. Fluid Flush

Regarding the Wiki Article for this. Does anyone have a picture of the return hose(referenced in the Wiki) that you put the clear tubing over? And what the OD size would be for an 02 Excursion? Also, I'm assuming the Excursion is the same underneath as the Super Dutys, so all instructions...
