    i have posted this a few times over the past, i think it helps explain exhaust theory. some of it doesnt apply to turbo diesels, because we have backpressure pre-turbo. to answer your question, yes exhaust can be too big.

    I found this out on the 10.5 rear ends today.

    just be careful when trying to jump gear ratios, the cases are different for 373 up, and 373 down. i cannot fit 410 in my 355 housing.
