    Yea , a friend of my dads was a pilot / captain . He passed away a few years back and I don't have an in anymore . Thanks , I love it . Also , I see you have a 79 . Probably the coolest truck Ford ever built . I have had a few myself and am going to get another soon .

    A 12 hour detailing not including some preventative maintenance and new brake pads all the way round . Whewwww , very long day . Also my Jack It leveling kit showed up today , maybe install that tomorrow .

    For me it's kinda like my Mustang , I know putting a Supercharger on it will end up breaking it but having 550 horse to the tires is just to much fun to pass , so it's had the blower on it since it was 2 weeks old . So far so good . tic tic tic

    Did you load test the batteries , I had one bad (bad cells) battery once that was pulling the voltage down on the other and when the truck was running and it would do kinda what your describing .     If they work good just leave them alone . You will have them out so you could clean them up but I have only replaced hubs once and that was at 150 k on my 2000 and because I could barley turn them .
