pro. carpet cleaners
didn`t like my idea about using fabric softner :D. use it after you have used the cleaner....then go over carpet with just water/fabric softner mixture in the carpet cleaner....glad your boy is doing better....;tu- atk

you talking about the drain plug? if you are, try replacing the drain plug gasket( should be like a copper washer....as for other issue, doubt they will do anything....- atk

X3....when you do a final rinse, put some fabric softner in the water. will leave the carpet a little soft and with a somewhat pleasing smell....- atk
