It's in my sig, but I've got a handshaker...no need for the trans gauge.

    single gauge A-pillar pod

Does someone have a single gauge pod that they could measure for me? I am getting ready to order a pyro, but want to keep the factory A-pillar grab handle. I heard that the singles would fit under the handle, but I would like to measure it before I order.

    Ford colored emblems

I used this to do one for my offroad toy. It isn't to hard to do at all...just takes a little time. http://www.rangerpowersports.com/tech/?p=93

    Sub/subs in an extended cab

I'm not looking to have an audio comp truck...I really just want more bass than what it is factory. The other problem is that I really can't loose any interior space for it...cake and eat it too, I know. I've seen the boxes to put the 6" or so subs under the seats, but I have my strobe power...

    Help with two mods needed...

Speaking of rear mount cameras, I saw the other day at the Walmart that they have a camera with a small screen for just that purpose. It looks like the camera mounts to a frame for the license plate, so I don't think you would even need to drill. Not sure about the quality, but for $100 I...

    gauge pod question

I thought about putting it in the panel where the 4x4 switch would be...mine is manual shift t-case...but I've already got some switches there, so that's a no-go. I really like the one that mounts on the top of the steering column, but I emailed Autometer and they said that they didn't make...

    gauge pod question

I'm going to be getting a pyro soon, but I am needing to figure out how I'm going to mount it in. I am unwilling to loose my A-pillar grab handle, so the only options to put a guage there is either a single pod mounted below it, or a guage cup. I have a guage cup already, and am considering...

    coolant filter thoughts

I've been thinking about adding a coolant filter for a while now, especially after seeing some of the pictures that were taken of the used filters. Most of the kits look to be fairly simple, and that got me to thinking. I have a remote oil filter kit that I had bought for my play toy truck...

    Need a winch, suggestions?

To get double pull with a snatch block, you have to go from the winch out to the block, and then hook back to your vehicle. This effectivly doubles the pull strength, but also cuts the pull speed in half. More often than not a snatch block is used just for changing direction of the pull. In...

    Where to Hide-A-Key

Along the same lines of something that was already mentioned, but I had a spare door key bolted under the frame with a wing nut. You couldn't see anything but the head of a carrage bolt from underneath, but it was easy to get at. Very cheap too... I would steer clear of the little magnetic...

    Need a winch, suggestions?

The pulley is a snatch block. Just make sure that all of the accessories that you get are rated for the winch. The cable kit that was mentioned is refering to the battery cable kit. You can make your own, but the cable and the connectors aren't cheap, you would just have to figure it up...

    Need a winch, suggestions?

I've got a Ramsey ProPlus 9000 on my off-road toy and it has been a fine winch for me. Warn is the hands down favorite of most though...and they are good winches. As mentioned, the PSD is one heavy SOB...mine goes 7700 full of fuel and with me in it, no camping gear, supplies or such. The...

    Question about building LED sets

I bought a flashing LED dash light for my truck last year (volunteer firefighter) and I like it , but I miss having lights in the rear like when I had a roof mounted rotating light. However, I do like the cleaner look of no light on the roof. The problem is the fancy LED stuff isn't cheap...

    Fluid capacities

So after I posted this, I looked in the owners manual and found exactly what I was looking for. Who would have thought that what I was wanting to find was right there in the truck the whole time...

    Fluid capacities

I have searched for a few days now to find the recomended fluids and capacities for my 'Duty...I've finally run out of patience. Mainly, I'm looking for the specs for the 6-speed, t-case, and axles... Does anyone have the link for me?

    Super Single!!!!!!

I'd say that they actually are big truck wheels...I'm sure that it is much cheaper to make the adapter and use standard wheels rather than have to make a complete new forgeing/casting. Plus, if something ever happend to the wheel, you would be able to replace it much easier. The 22" ers are...

    Water in Fuel light REVISITED

No need...just hit the local International dealer...they had to order it, but it only took a day or two. It was right about that price too, but I don't remember off hand. I think I used p/n 2589259c91. That is the number that I have in front of me anyway.

    Short and sweet?

The Humvee wheels are the old 8x6.5 bolt pattern and will not fit the 99+ Super Dutys...metric pattern... If you were talking about an older truck, 98 or older, then yes, they will bolt up. BUT, the kicker here, the Humvee rims have ALOT of backspace...they might not clear the steering parts...

    New 06 SD 6.0 ?

As for the dual alternators, I really feel that it is something more intended for the ambulance or fire/rescue units...most people will never need that much alternator. With the single alternator, you have 130 amp rating... As for the 20's, mostly looks...gotta keep up with Dodge there since...

Program Number 05B35 Reflash- Good or Bad?

I got the same letter yesterday...I have no plans on taking it in for a re-flash. Like your's, mine is still running just fine, so I see no reason to take a chance of letting them change that. Mine is a 04/05/2005 build date.

    trailer hookup........

I know what you mean. I hooked up my controller...just had to wire it to the supplied harness and plug it in...but when I hooked up to the trailer it wouldn't work right. I thought I did something wrong. Finally took the trailer apart, and not only were the shoes not adjusted out, but all...
