Got rid of my powerstroke
If i couldn't own a ford, i would buy a dodge before a GM for 2 reasons: -Solid front axle with coil springs (Holds plow way better than IFS/less problems) -Cummins Engine- 6.0PSD777

05 /07 bumper to 01
The only thing that i know won't match up is the brackets on the ends of the bumper that go to the frame because you have a leaf spring front end and the shackle is in the way. When my friend put an 07 nose on his 03 he just didn't use them.- 6.0PSD777

egr upgrade
From what i've heard they are a rugged design. If i needed to replace one, i would go with one of those over a stock one.- 6.0PSD777

If its not smoking i don't think its a HG -Just pull the tuner off for the hell of it, even an economy tuner can cause problems, its still changing the way the engine operates. Burns more air than fuel so it may run hotter.- 6.0PSD777

Take the tuner off and drive for a while, see if it stops - happened to my friend with a hypertech, took it out and truck stopped puking and been fine ever since. Does it blow white smoke?- 6.0PSD777
