DaveBen is right, I've never had a problem with my dealer and i buy all my parts from them but my friend had problems with the one he bought his truck from. I was just going to buy a set of the OEM 18" steel wheels to use in the winter for plowing and so my aluminun ones wouldn't go to hell or get screwed up. Was just going to spray paint them then if they chipped i could touch them up quick.- 6.0PSD777

best fuel filters??
Motorcraft - May be a little more money but filters and fits better than aftermarket ones. I change mine every other oil change which is every 3k for me. Rather spend a couple dollars extra on correct filters than replace injectors.- 6.0PSD777

Which tires for me?
I have Goodyear Wrangler AT/S and they are excellent in the snow/rain/mud but a little noisy on the highway and ride rougher than some other brands but overall i really like them.- 6.0PSD777

Welcome to SDD.com, Sick truck :sweet- My buddy had an airaid on his 06 and didn't notice any diff in mpg, Mine had a k&n on it when i bought it and i put a stock one back on and actually got better mileage - Stock ones are also good up to 500hp.- 6.0PSD777

Fuel additives - what are you guys running?
I use additives pretty much every fill up - Anti gel in the winter and Cetane boost in the summer. Helps the fuel burn better and reduces carbon and cleans ur injectors. Question How does the 7.3L compare to 6.0L in maintenance/repairs??
I personally like 6.0's - Maintenance is key on 6.0's, Don't belive all the bad things u hear - a well cared for 6.0 is just as good as a 7.3, Look around there are millions of them and warrenty claims for the later years of the 6L were lower than any other Ford motor.
