    Mine also went bad was going to replace it at home. I went and bought a 1 1/4" drive socket set because the pinnion nut is so big. Unless you have an air gun you wont get it to budge. Took it into the dealer where my brother works and had them install the new seal due to the above mentioned...

    I have 265/85/16 on my truck and have to use a small spacer to keep a good amount of clerance between the rears. Good luck all you need is like a 1/4" spacer or smaller not very much.

    My buddys 99 has the center front seat under the console converted to a sub box. It still has a little foam and the org. cloth cover under the console. Good mod if you dont plain on having anyone sit in the middle up front. I think it was a MTX brand box.
