    New motor question

I'm breaking in my new engine. But I have a question...I have a good idea on what to do and not to do(varying rpms, not pulling big loads...)I'm up to 600 miles and have been doing what everybody suggested. A time or two I have had to "step on it" Traffic conditions warranted it. When I did it...

exhaust for 97 7.3 power stroke

I would call Dale at Tymar. I am at the point of buying one also. From the videos I have heard the 3" post turbo downpipe and then 4" under the truck sound great and the egt release is supposed to really decrease heat. Which is good, someone else might be able to speak to HP. Tate

    Curious about Waste oils

    Help, Motor install delayed

I am just joking. I was real surprised by the reaction of the mech. After I explained to him 1. My model truck did not have a wastegate as he had claimed would screw up my piston if it was gone. 2.What for his whole career on my model truck was actually an EBPV and actuator and pedistal that only...

    Buying a 96 F350. Help me out with a few Q's.

In my honest experience... I agree, find a qualified diesel mech.(In my area the there are some big rig type guys who have a good smaller truck diesel tech) I should have done a compression test...and if possible w/o being a pest kinda,be curious about the motor (watch them) I didn't, and I...
