    I used to do Spray in bedliners for a living. I did Perma-Tech - good stuff. Had it in my Mazda and worked great. I have rhino now, and it's about as good. I think you'll be ok w/either!

    I'm going to Flordia in 2 days. Leaving Elkton MD and going to Indian Rocks Beach Fla. I'm close to 95 - in elkton/northeast (exits 100-109). I also drive a tow truck and have a CrewCab so if you break down with family in tow - I'm yo man! I'll drive my PERSONAL truck past those exits...

    New Article about the 6.4

    Well not quite, it takes a bit more then a chip to hit 350 ponies, but only a chip to easily surpass 650tq. Also remember, those numbers are probably NOT at the rear wheels. It's probably 320/630 or less at the rear wheels.

    Interest in a Full Trim Replacement Pillar Pod?

    The gauge cover looks great on my truck :dunno: I'd buy a premade gauge pillar that just clips in to avoid the drilling and what not on my stock a-pillar so that when I sell the truck, out comes the gauges and on goes to the stock pillar. Plus it'd make it easier when installing.

    01 Diesel Dies while driving..Total loss of power

    I'd second a cps or even another sensor like the ICP sensor, simply because it is intermittent. If it was the alternator, in my experience, once it dies from that you're not restarting it and going anywhere. It completely drains the batteries. I could be wrong though.

    F250 leaf blocks

    I'd use new ones. You don't want to risk bottoming them out and you're no longer going to have the shock in its optimal position to assist the leaf springs so the ride will likely change.

    If you're interested in HUGE HP... you ****** yourself when you bought an 01 w/ PMR's. You're limited to 400 RWHP because of that alone.

    The answer to the winch question will be determined by your stuck. 8500# Curbweight + driver = normal for 7.3 Ex's... It's the motor that weighs soo much in these trucks.

    Tcase fluid every other time you change diff fluid. What you are doing to this truck is actually better then daily driving it 5 miles one way every day. I'd go by the book with the maintainence and make sure you use quality products.

    The 99's had a Cat on the DP I believe. THe 00-03 7.3's did not have a Cat. The 03 6.0's on had cats. What year was the Chevy Duramax? Pre 04?

    If you want to stay legal, which I would suggest since you have SUCH a brand new truck is keep the cat and muffler on a 4" TB system. I also see you're from baltimore. I could give you a hand if ya need one.

    What size DP is coming with it? 5" serves NO performance gain over 4" systems and can actually decrease low end grunt on stock trucks. 5" is for looks and sound, until you start pushin 500 rwhp. A straight pipe 4" will give best flow and lower egt's enough to keep your truck from puking...

    Try a quality scanner first. There could be an array of issues from what you described, but if you can't differentiate a rattle from your normal powerstroke music then I doubt I can be of much help. Do you have gauges? If so, what are your boost readings? If they aren't normal or you don't...

    I gotta problem boys

    1. Don't use ether to try and start the truck. 2. You need to try a better scanner. 3. CPS is often characterized by no movement in the tach when cranking, so if you replaced it, maybe you got a bad one (can/has happened). I'd return that CPS and ask for a replacement.
