I dont have the parts discription in front of me, but I do recall there is a sline count that differs between the 2, for example one is a 34 spline the other is a 37... or something very close to that.

The climate control has 3 remote sensors that are not standard in installation. If you pulled the three knob unit out I dont believe you will see a wiring harness to plug it into. This is psudo educated guess, no certain fact.
Wifes Gator...
Navigator.
I looked at her Filter mount. It sits Driverside, Remote, (not on the engine) the mount has 2 lines that feed it, both sides have fittings that will require an O ring. about 5/8 inch.
My wifes Gator has the 5.4, the O rings for the cooler are a common size that can be found at just about any auto parts store. you may also want to look at the V-10 trans cooler for your truck also, larger volume.
Whats that "UGLY" Round switch/ugly thing next to the steering wheel.... You know ...that thingy that wont work on that supper nasty day, when the road is all of a sudden covered with mud/snow/ice....... :-D Now you have a nice big area to put new switches... and dials... and ... :-D now time...
Looking at your Sig you have the basic stuff covered, perhaps when time and money permit you may want to consider upgrading the intake manifold, eventually injectors..... as far as the Basic set up though IMO I think your doing just fine with what you've started with.
Check the inlet side of your turbo.. aka the wheel, look for Rub and wear. The added boost of a chip/programmer can be the straw that pushes your turbo over the edge...
Correct no Cable... Pull the sensor top of the dif. if you see a lot of Ferrus buildup you may get away with a good cleaning, also a good indicator if its time for a lube change. the sensor ...If I Recall was around 30.00 at NAPA. They may have to look it up as a rear ABS sensor, as the...
The ZF 6 Does have a cooler, the pump is built in to the tranny housing. ... drivers side on the forward portion of the housing. the factory cooler is only 3 or 4 coils around 8 inches in length. ZF Company puts tranny pumps on all of their trannies that I have seen. At least the ones that I...
Hi Scott, hope all is well with you....
on Mine I have about 2-3 min worth of play... been that way since I've had the Truck... I'm now a little over 225 K. I agree with the slip yoke lube, I think the grease acts like a "Shock" absorber so the slop is less harsh.
Welcome.... and good luck with that, your gonna need an "OH MY GOD" Cheater Bar to get that pinion nut off, or a 3/4 or better impact. (Been there done that)
The Dana 80 uses the same thread size as Chevy Small block intake. You can get a package of 16 Allan head Stainless for around 12 buck at sucks, and most other Automotive Box stores.
Not a dumb question.... :-D
I've run either Amsoil synthetic, or Mobile one Synthetic from the get go... I have over 225 thousand on this gear box on the original seals and internals. If you leave the tranny in the truck when you drain then its a little bit difficult to flush the cooler...
Welcome D.
We may have some local guys to you, nwfordiesel.com
Does it crank fast and Easy... or labored, any exhaust smoke when cranking?..... when it fires doe it run smooth or does it miss.....
Did mine around 100,00 miles ago.... I dont remember torquing it down, I used the same rule of thumb that I used for Front wheel bearings, that is tighten till the bearing starts to show resistance, then back off slightly.
Sounds like you have a relay going south.... under hood, check your manual... you have four relays, one of them controls accessories. you can pull, and juggle them around as they are all the same to help eliminate which one is the culprit.
I think something we forgot to ask... is it a 4X, most of the decent clutches do such a Great job at holding, they can be unforgiving when backing a trailer. Having a 4X will allow you to use 4-Low, eliminating the "Bucking".
