    :wave Merry Christmas... Castol makes some stuff in a purple bottle, it will clean your carpet, However I recomend removing the carpet from the truck. you'll need to hose it off first, then take a liberal amount and a scrub brush, then preasure wash clear.

    Once upon a time ago..... like pre 70's F-100= 1/2 ton as in the payload rating of the rear was 1000 lbs... or 1/2 ton F-150 was off the wall known as a 5/8's ton... not many folks ..cept those selling them at the time called them that. Early 70's you could buy a f-100 or a f-150 around...

    Wiggle... or vibration. Wiggles are most commonly caused by caster being improperly set, next... and most likley (if in the Steering) would be Ball joints. if the Carrier bearing may cause some harmonic vibes. this can some times be diagnosed by adding a small shim in the Rubber that holds...

    As this will be going on a trailer... I'd follow Roy's advise.... gotta remember a bigger winch is gonna require bigger power at lest a 1000CCA.... a good 6K winch would pulll what you have in your avitar providing it is a ROLLING LOAD, the 15K ..nearly Identicle to my 16.5 is a recovery...

    2-3 min... or seconds.... that is a long time to be over the 1300 mark... when I hit the 1300 mark... while towing, I will back out... I try to keep (on those long hot hills) my egts around 1200-1250 with an occational spike that might hit 1300 for a sec or 2... never minutes.
