    I have also heard that a stock 6.0 has about equal power to a modified 7.3. I have yet to drive a 6.0. My uncle bought an '07 6.0 to replace his old 7.3 (my truck) and was impressed with the power it had. He had a programmer on both.

    I think that it may be the orings as well. On cold days it starts with blue smoke. The blue smoke clears up withing 30-60 seconds and the truck switches to high idle.
